Terms and conditions

1. Services

Vale Motors provides vehicle mechanics, diagnostics and maintenance services at its workshops in Cardenas Center and Delta de Albrook, Panama City.

2. Quotes and bookings

Quotes are estimates and may change after diagnosis. Any additional work is notified to the customer and requires approval before it is carried out. Appointments can be booked online, by telephone or by WhatsApp.

3. Payments

Prices do not include ITBMS (sales tax). We accept cash, credit cards (including American Express), Yappy and PayPal. Payment is due when the vehicle is collected.

4. Warranty

Work carried out is covered by a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery, subject to normal use of the vehicle. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or work carried out by third parties.

5. Vehicle collection and parking

Once the customer has been told that the work is finished, they have 5 days to collect the vehicle. After that, a parking fee applies: USD 25 per day in the covered area or USD 10 per day in the outdoor area. In the outdoor car park, Vale Motors accepts no liability for damage to, or theft or loss of, the vehicle or any items inside it. Vale Motors is also not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

6. Cancellations

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, the customer must give at least 24 hours' notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Panamanian law, the liability of Vale Motors is limited to the value of the service provided.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama.
